Emily is a Registered Veterinary Technician living and working in Vancouver. After graduating from the Douglas College VTEC Program in 2017, Emily worked in both general practice and emergency before ultimately deciding she preferred the flow of general practice.

Emily is currently the Team Lead at her current veterinary hospital and is transitioning into a management role. Emily is a big supporter of preventative care, and strongly supports the use of CBD alongside veterinary care. In addition to general practice, Emily values her experience volunteering in outreach programs where veterinary care is provided for those who otherwise could not afford it.

Outside of the veterinary world, Emily spends her days off exploring the outdoors in Squamish. A day off is not complete without a donut, a glass of wine, and petting other people’s dogs! Emily also enjoys live music, spending time with family, and taking steps towards a more sustainable lifestyle.
