Diarrhea

Diarrhea is one of the most common signs of illness that both dog owners and veterinarians see, yet it can also be the result of serious life-threatening diseases. Diarrhea is typically presented as unformed or loose, soft watery stool – typically in larger amounts and/or more frequently than usual.

Some diarrhea can result in a change in color of the stool, which can indicate the presence of parasites, bleeding or other issues. If your dog’s diarrhea lasts longer than 24-48 hours, it’s a sign of a more serious situation that needs prompt veterinary attention.
